Truly lovely breakfast, very skillfully prepared, and served in a beautiful large kitchen overlooking Lac Ste.-Jean. Homemade cappuchinos! Martina was very patient with our poor French.

Martine, the owner is always there for you, very helpful and nice. The location is excellent with great views of the lake, close to Zoo Sauvage, Val- Jalbert and Troy de la fee. Public beach is good and is around 20 min walk from the property. The kitchen is very well equipped

This place has seen better days. The owner was not particularly friendly upon check in (she warmed up a bit the next day), the whole place smelled of cooking (not in a good way), the room was tired (stained sheets, carpet) and old. It had not been renovated since the 60's and not well maintained. We were upgraded to a lake view room which would have been nice had we been able to see out the window (screen full of cobwebs, etc.). A shame because the house could really be something but after years of neglect, poor or no renovations, etc. it is in a sad state of decline. I would not go back. The breakfast was ok.
